Three Stone County residents have been charged in Stone County Circuit Court with committing fraud against the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery.

The court documents, filed earlier this week, say the three charged are Bryan James Beke, 35,; Ashley Annicole Blanton, 30; and Holly Gillmore, 21.

Gillmore and Beke were employees of Murphy USA in Mountain View, where Gilmore also served as manager. The court information alleges Gilmore and Beke scratched off and scanned barcodes of lottery tickets and used approximately $5,000 worth of lottery tickets and over $2,000 worth of lotto tickets.

Authorities say in the filing that the two kept the proceeds without paying for all the tickets and that Blanton was present during the theft and fraud and received proceeds from the theft from her boyfriend, Beke.

Beke and Gillmore are charged with felony theft and lottery fraud with enhancement.

Blanton is charged as an accomplice to theft and lottery fraud with enhancement.

An asset protection employee for Murphy USA said an audit of store record showed missing tickets and cash totaled $7,424.50.
