The Independence County Election Commission will meet Aug. 24 at 10 a.m. to conduct the ballot draw for the Nov. 3 election, says Tracey Mitchell, the county clerk
Mitchell says the commission will also discuss other election matters and will be held at the commission’s office, located in the rear portion of the old Skinner’s Jewelry building on Main Street in downtown Batesville.
Mitchell notes the meeting is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend.
Anyone from the public attending the meeting should use the 3rd Street entrance to the building.
