Two-vehicle collision takes life of Yellville man

A Yellville, Ark., man was killed late Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 66, east of Oxley in Searcy County.

In his preliminary report, Arkansas State Trooper Jonathan M. Arnold said the victim, identified as Joshua Reed, 40, of Yellville, was driving his Yamaha cycle eastbound on Highway 66 when he crossed the yellow line and struck a westbound 2015 Dodge.

The driver and passenger in the Dodge were not injured.

Arnold said the weather was clear and the roadway dry at the time of the accident.
