Paul Wesley Fike, 71, passed away Friday, August 14, 2020. He was born December 10, 1948, in Maple Springs Arkansas. Paul enjoyed working with his hands doing carpentry and stone masonry, spending time with his family, watching the wildlife outside his home, and most of all he loved spoiling his grandchildren. Paul was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend whose memory will forever be cherished by his loved ones.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Willie Fike; daughter, Shelley Montague; brothers, Edwin “J.L.” Fike, Karrel “Biddie” Fike, and Ellis “Bobie” Fike; sisters, Peggy Fike, Judy Fike, and Dorothy Beckum; as well as a great-grandchild.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (Young) Fike; daughters, Sherrey and Matt Bullock of Cabot, Ar., April and Shandy Cannon of Salado, AR.; brother, Danny and Sheila Fike of Maple Springs, AR.; sister, Kathy Parker of Maple Springs; grandchildren, Dylan and Megan McClain of Newark, AR.; Paden Cannon of Little Rock, AR.; Madalene Montague of Batesville, AR.; Trisha Cannon of Salado, AR.; Kierstin Bullock of Cabot, AR.; and Tisha Cannon of Salado, AR.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 17, 2020, at Willis Funeral Service from 6 to 8 pm. There will be a funeral service held Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at Maple Springs Baptist Church at 10 am. Officiating will be Stan Grooms and Ricky Layton.
Pallbearers include Dylan McClain, Paden Cannon, Farrel Fike, Lonnie Young, George Crenshaw, and Steven Young.
COVID precautions will be in place.
