Billy Charles Hardin of Swifton, Arkansas departed this life Saturday, August 22, 2020, in Little Rock Baptist Hospital surrounded by his children at age 62.
Billy was born in Newport on July 15, 1958, to the late Wesley Hardin and Elwanda (Ross) Hardin. Billy is survived by one son, Brandon Hardin of Swifton and wife Amber; one daughter, Allison Hardin Schulz of Jonesboro; eight grandchildren; Kaitlyn Hayes, Colby Schulz, Ethan Schulz, A.J. Hardin, Brandon Hardin, Braden Hardin, Ashlyn Saucier, and Alexa Kirk; two great-grandchildren; Leah Hayes and Olivia Hayes, one sister, Nancy Rhoades of Cabot and husband Chuck, one nephew, Travis Rhoades of Cabot and wife Morgan, and many other relatives and friends.
He was a graduate of Swifton High School in 1976. Billy was employed with American Lantern for several years. He later obtained education in HVAC. Billy spent the latter part of his life as a truck driver.
He was a social bug and enjoyed working on items, fishing, traveling, camping, coaching softball, dancing, spending time with family, reading westerns, and watching NCIS.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 26, 2020, from Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Swifton Cemetary.
