As more area schools reopen, one area district employee tests positive for COVID-19

Wednesday brought the reopening of the Mountain View School District, which includes Mountain View, Rural Special, and Timbo.

Superintendent Brent Howard told White River Now’s Gary Bridgman Wednesday morning that things were “…so far, so good.”

Meanwhile, the Concord School District noted on their website that district administration was informed of a district employee that has tested positive.

“The District has followed the response protocol set forth by the Arkansas Department of Education, Division of Elementary and Secondary Education, and the Arkansas Department of Health,” the district said on their website.

“The District has and will continue to follow the procedures outlined by the Arkansas Department of Health in our dedicated effort to keep our students and staff safe.”
