Dallas Carroll Stewart, 83, of Newport departed this life Monday, August 31, 2020. He was born May 25, 1937, to Horace Herman and Addie Mae (Maples) Stewart. He was of the Baptist Belief and served in the United States Air Force where he was a DFC (Distinguished Flying Cross). Mr. Stewart enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time in the woods, and was a member of V.F.W.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother; Harold Vernon Stewart.
His survivors are his wife of 45 years; Patsy Stewart of the home, two daughters; Denise Johnson (Ron) and DeLinda Meissnest (Eric), numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
There will be no funeral service.
