Body found in fishing area of Lake Norfork Saturday has been identified

caution-tape-2020-7

A body found last Saturday in a fishing area of Lake Norfork, near Pidgeon Creek in Baxter County, has been identified.

Authorities say the body has been identified as Andrew Cunningham, 43, of Cotter, Ark. When Cunningham’s body was discovered, he was believed to have been deceased for several days.

Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery says Cunningham’s autopsy has not been completed, but at this time, there does not appear to have been foul play involved in the death. Montgomery did not say how authorities believe Cunningham died, but he did say the case is not yet closed.
