Sidney man dies in one-vehicle accident early Monday

A single-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Sidney, Ark. man around 2:19 a.m. Monday.

According to the Arkansas State Police, a 2008 Chevrolet Impala traveling south on Highway 167 ran off the southbound side of the roadway, struck a mailbox, and continued down the roadside before striking an embankment.

The driver, identified as Bruce Muston, 44, was transported to White River Medical Center where he succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident.

In his report, Trooper Brady Bates said the weather was foggy and the road was dry at the time of the accident.

This makes the 406th death on Arkansas highways in 2020.
