Eight people were sentenced this week in Stone County Circuit Court with five sent to prison.
Under a negotiated plea of guilty, Jimmy Ray Lewis, 35, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for breaking or entering; simultaneous possession of a firearm and drugs; and theft of property. He was also fined $1,000 plus court and associated costs. Lewis was given credit for 365 days spent in jail awaiting trial or a plea agreement.
Kenneth D. Dornhoffer, 32, was sentenced to six years in prison for breaking or entering, theft, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also fined $1,000 plus court and associated costs. Dornhoffer was credited for spending 140 days in jail awaiting trial.
James W. Tilley, 42, was sentenced to five years in prison on a negotiated plea of guilty to breaking or entering, theft of property, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance. Tilley was also fined $1,000 plus court and associated costs. Tilley was credited for spending 99 days in jail awaiting trial.
Leroy Wayne Holt, 41, entered a negotiated plea of guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to three years in prison. At the time of his offense, he was an active probationer. Holt was also fined $2500 plus court and associated costs totaling just over $3,900. He was given credit for spending 280 days in jail awaiting trial or a negotiated plea.
Steven P. Graves, 45, was sentenced to two years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections for “failure to comply with requirements.” He was also fined $1,000 plus $170 court costs. The court information said he was on probation at the time of his offense. The court document did not show any time spent in jail awaiting his negotiated plea.
