Rafael Trujillo, Sr., 77, of Batesville passed away Saturday, September 5, 2020.
He was born October 24, 1942 in Villa Guerrero, Mexico to Trocolo Trujillo Gomes and Ventura Montes de Oca Flores.
Rafael was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rosa Maria Benavides Neri; four sons, Rogelio Trujillo of Mexico, Armando Trujillo of Illinois, Rafael Trujillo Jr. of Illinois and Joel Trujillo of Rogers; three daughters, Everejilda Trujillo, Jaqueline Trujillo and Elsa Trujillo all of Mexico; three step-children, Juan Neri of Southside, Fabian Neri of Southside and Noemi Tovar of Brownsville, Texas; two sisters, Virgen Trujillo and Marie Elena Trujillo both of Mexico; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as many other nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant children; one step-grandson, Jose Neri; one brother; and one sister.
Memorial services will be held in Mexico at a later date.
