The Cedar Ridge School District is looking to have students back in their classrooms on Monday, Sept. 21.

Cedar Ridge Superintendent Dr. Sherry McMasters (pictured) said the high school will now have an additional week of virtual learning in addition to the elementary school.

“We will continue virtual instruction for our high school through next week,” McMasters told White River Now’s Gary Bridgman Thursday morning. “Our numbers have actually increased in our support staff, but we have more people out because they are probable close contacts.”

McMasters said the district should be able to start back on-site Sept. 21.

“That’s our goal, and I see no reason why we should not be able to do that.”
