Velma Lois Franklin, 91, of Batesville passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2020.
She was born November 16, 1928, in Charlotte to Willie Franklin Liles and Zonia (Corbit) Liles.
Velma was a great mother who loved quilting. She was a loving and caring person.
She is survived by her son, Daniel Franklin of Batesville.
Velma is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clayton Dewitt Franklin; and one daughter, Linda Diane Wherum.
Graveside services will be held Friday, September 16, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks and social distancing will be observed.
