Throughout the month of August, First Community Bank celebrated its 23rd anniversary.

To commemorate the occasion, the bank asked customers to provide feedback about the bank, their favorite employee, and favorite non-profit organization with the promise that the top in each category would receive $1,000, for a total of $3,000 in the giveaway.

“We were humbled by the positive feedback that we’ve received during the celebration, and like each year previous, we want to share this anniversary with our employees, customers, and communities,” said Dale Cole, chairman and CEO. “We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of the communities that have supported and embraced our style of community banking. It’s with their support that we celebrate twenty-three years of great success.”

Denise Cook, First Community Bank customer of Cabot, was the recipient of the $1,000 cash prize drawing for customers.

First Community Bank employee Eduard Milan, who received the majority of customer nominations, was also the winner of $1,000. Milan is a teller and new accounts customer service representative at the bank’s Conway location.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital received the most votes for the non-profit organization nomination and received $1,000. The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of their founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion, or a family’s ability to pay.
