The Southside Southerners Athletes of the Week, sponsored by Vicki Stephenson Shelter Insurance and Triangle Cafe, are Brendan Frazier and Callie Jo Robbins.
Callie Jo had 57 kills, six aces, and four solo blocks for the week for the Lady Southerners volleyball teams.
“Callie Jo has been playing at a high level all season and is one of the top attackers in our conference,” said Coach Suzanne Fincham Rains.
Brendan Frazier ran for 134 yards on 18 carries in the Southerners’ setback at Trumann.
“Brendan is a part of our three-headed attack at running back and is capable of running for 100 yards every game we play,” said Coach Brian Reardon.
The winners receive a medal from Vicki Stephenson and a free meal at the Triangle Cafe.
