Sidney Cannon, 41, of Desha passed away Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020.
He was born June 5, 1979, in Batesville, Arkansas to Paul Wayne Cannon and Cathy Sue (Dew) Cannon.
Sidney was a 1997 graduate of Widefield High School of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was a veteran of the United States Navy where he served as a Corpsman attached to the United States Marine Corps; and for the last eight years, he was an E.R. Technician working at White River Medical Center in Batesville. He also loved to cook.
Survivors include his parents of Southside; maternal grandmother, Maxine Dew of Batesville; one brother, Michael Paul Cannon (Sarah) of Desha; four aunts, Patricia Runyun (Mike) of Kansas City, Kansas, Linda Jeffery (Kevin) of Southside, Barbara Wheeler (David) of Arlington, Texas and Evelyn Sneed of Abilene, Texas; two uncles, Steve Dew and Melton Dew (Dana) both of Batesville; one niece, Haylee Marie Cannon; and one nephew, Jacob Andrew Cannon.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Isaac and Gladys (Null) Cannon and maternal grandfather, Doyle Dew.
