Batesville Pioneers improve to 3-2 on the season, defeating the Paragould Rams, 35-0

The Batesville Pioneers improved to 3-2 on the season, 2-0 in 5A East play with a 35-0 victory over the Paragould Rams.

The Pioneers got their first score when Jack Lanier scooped up a blocked punt and returned it 10 yards for a touchdown. Alejandro Medina’s extra point made it 7-0.
The second Pioneer touchdown came on a 19-yard John Todd Stalker touchdown run.  Medina’s extra point made it 14-0.
The Pioneers would go on to add a 23-yard touchdown run from Jarrett Vickers, a 19-yard touchdown run from Taylor Daugherty, and a 13-yard touchdown run from Vickers to set the final score.
The Pioneers will host Forrest City next week at Pioneer Stadium.  Kickoff will be at 7 p.m.
