Izard County Deputies quickly responded when they received a call that some homeowners on Ruddell’s Road in Sylamore were detaining a burglary suspect.

The homeowners met the suspect when he came up to them, and told them he was hiking and had lost his backpack. He asked the homeowners if he could use their phone.

One of the homeowners went into the house to get her cell phone so the suspect could use it, but she couldn’t find it.

She went back outside and asked the other homeowner to call her cell phone.

He did, and that’s when the woman found her phone. Her cell phone was ringing in the suspect’s pocket.

When officers arrived they also found several other articles from the home on the suspect’s person.

As a result, Blake Bisbee, 19, of Stuttgart was charged with residential burglary and theft of property.

Bisbee’s bond was set at $20,000 professional with an Izard County Circuit Court date of Oct. 28.
