New exhibit, ‘Western Love Glow,’ on display now at BAAC Gallery on Main

The Batesville Area Arts Council (BAAC) is presenting “Western Love Glow,” an exhibition by Eric Freeman, at the BAAC Gallery on Main, located at 226 E. Main St.) through Nov. 21.

This exhibition includes “…a series of colorful striped oil paintings along with black and white woodblock prints featuring phrases pulled from Freeman’s poetry,” according to the BAAC.

Freeman has described his art process as “painting the poetry of dreams.”

Freeman is an American-born painter, poet, musician, and photographer living in Little Rock. His work is included in many private collections internationally and is part of the permanent collections of the Arkansas Art Center and the Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas.

The exhibition can be viewed during BAAC’s regular gallery hours, Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
