Batesville Pioneers improve to 4-2 on the season, Coach Dave King recognized for 200th win

The Batesville Pioneers improved to 4-2 on the season, 3-0 in the 5A East as they defeated the Forrest City Mustangs 42-12 at Pioneer Stadium.

The Pioneers got three rushing touchdowns from Ethan Ridgel and two rushing touchdowns from Eli Livingston along with a 23-yard touchdown pass from Livingston to Will Storlie.  Alejandro Medina hit all six of his extra points.
The win also marked Coach Dave King’s 200th victory at Batesville.
The Pioneers travel to Wynne next Friday to take on the undefeated Wynne Yellowjackets.  Coverage will begin at 6:30 p.m. on 93 KZLE, streaming live at, or in the palm of your hand with the White River Now mobile app.
