Obituary: Frieda Fletcher

Frieda Fletcher, 82, of Batesville died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020.

She was born March 7, 1938, in Fisher, Arkansas to Carl Henry and Ruby Joe (Dixon) Pufahl.

Frieda was a Sunday School teacher who loved teaching children about the Bible and enjoyed sewing.

She is survived by three sons, Carl Fletcher (Debra) of Concord, Arkansas, Joe Fletcher ( Shelia) of Cabot, Arkansas, Charles Fletcher (Lisa) of Oahu, Hawaii; one daughter, Raychel of Jamestown, Arkansas; one brother, Roger Pufahl of Owensboro, Kentucky; one sister, Martha Lynn Jacob of Riverview, Florida, nine grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

Frieda is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Eddie Ray Fletcher; grandchild, Nathan Ray Fletcher; great-grandchild, Gage Tyler Emerson; brother, Paul Ray Pufahl; and sister, Leota Carpenter.

Pallbearers are Jason Merrell, Robert Jones, Joe Fletcher, Charles Fletcher, Andy Carpenter, and Terry Lambert. Honorary pallbearers are Joshua Karns, Brad Martin, Jim Walston, and Jason Holt.

Funeral services are Friday, Oct. 16, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., at the Ramsey Heights Baptist Church, with Mike Fulcher officiating. There will be a committal service at 1:00 p.m. at the Fisher Cemetery in Fisher, Arkansas under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.

Visitation was Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
