Edgar Franklin Sharp, 83, of Newport departed this life Tuesday, October 13, 2020. He was born May 1, 1937, in Newport to Ed and Mary (Mathews) Sharp. He was of the Baptist Belief. Mr. Sharp was a Butcher for many years. He enjoyed yard work and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers; Gene Sharp and Jerry Sharp.
He is survived by one sister; June Sullivan and husband W.F of Newport and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at Dillinger Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be Thursday, October 22, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. in the Walnut Grove Cemetery.
