Truck reported stolen from Southside car lot


Independence County Deputies are on the lookout for a vehicle that has been reported stolen from an area car lot. 

Deputy Chris Martin said he was dispatched to Brooks Auto Sales in the Southside area in reference to a theft of a vehicle. Martin reported that Shanda Brooks said her vehicle, a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pickup, was parked outside her property on Brooks Auto Sales property.  Deputy Martin said Brooks noticed her truck missing Monday morning around 10 o’clock.

The vehicle has been entered into the Arkansas Crime Information Center, and a BOLO (be on the lookout) has been given out to surrounding counties.
