The Batesville Pioneers improved to 6-3 on the season, defeating Greene County Tech, 33-12

The Batesville Pioneers improved to 6-3 on the season, 5-1 in the 5A East with their 33-12 victory over the Greene County Tech Golden Eagles.

The Pioneers jumped on top of GCT at the 10:27 mark in the first quarter on a 60-yard touchdown pass from Eli Livingston to Will Storlie.
Livingston would get a one-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter and a two-yard rushing touchdown in the second to make the halftime score 20-0 in favor of the Pioneers.
The Pioneers would extend their lead in the third quarter thanks to a 71-yard touchdown pass from Jay Storlie to Jace Daugherty.  Ethan Ridgel would add a 20-yard touchdown run in the third to make the score 33-0.  Alejandro Medina hit three extra points in the game.
The Pioneers will be back at Pioneer Stadium on Friday to take on the Valley View Blazers for Senior Night.  Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
