Obituary: Nina Vay Burrow Sinele

Nina Vay Burrow was born Oct. 1, 1927 in Thida, Arkansas, and passed from this life Nov. 5, 2020.

She Married John Baker Sinele on Dec. 24, 1945.

Nina Sinele was the daughter of William Henson Burrow and Mary Elizabeth Hankins Burrow.

She was a homemaker, or stay at home mom, a lifetime resident of Independence County, and a member of the Harrison Street Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two sisters, Clarice Blanks and Beulah Arnold, and one brother, Travis Burrow.

She is survived by three children, Larry Sinele of Cabot, Sharon Smart of Batesville, and Sheila Cook of Batesville; one brother, Cornelius Burrow of Rosie, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Howard Marshall, Laddy Barber, Neil Burrow, Steve Wells, Phillip Lloyd, Benson Hardaway, and Charles Allen Burrow. Honorary pallbearers are grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Tracey Cook Owens (Adam), Shawn Sinele, Chris Sinele (Jennifer), Erica Sinele Sutton (Travis), Chad Smart, Joey Smart, Braden Sutton, Ryan Sinele, Brysen Sutton, Taylor Sinele, Lindsey Sinele, Ben Sinele, Addison Owens, Donna Farrell, and the men from Harrison Street Church of Christ.

Graveside services was held Monday, Nov. 9, 2020, at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home with Tom German officiating.
