A Bee Branch, Ark., man is to appear in Izard County Circuit Court Tuesday after he was arrested on a warrant accusing him of rape and sexual assault.
Izard County Chief Deputy Sheriff Charley Melton said Monday that Christopher Powell (pictured below), 28, is charged with rape of an adult female when she was a minor along with two felony counts of sexual assault.
Melton said the female also alleged that when she was a minor, Powell also performed other sex acts on her.
Powell is being held in the Izard County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
