Batesville Pioneers finish their season Friday night against the White Hall Bulldogs, 14-10

The Batesville Pioneers ended their season with a 14-10 loss to White Hall Bulldogs at Pioneer Stadium.

The injury bug wasn’t kind to the Pioneers as they were without quarterback Eli Livingston for the game and lost defensive standout Mason Sifford to injury in the first quarter.
Several other Pioneers were banged up during the game, but the Pioneers fought to the bitter end.
The Pioneers went 98 yards on their first possession of the game, which was capped off by a one-yard Jay Storlie touchdown run and Alejandro Medina extra point.
The other Pioneer points came in the third quarter on a 37-yard field goal by Medina, his longest field goal of the season.
John Todd Stalker was one of several Pioneers called upon to fill in for the injuries, and the senior responded with several great defensive plays in addition to his solid play on offense.
Ethan Ridgel had a good night running the football as well as creating havoc on the defensive side of the ball.
Justin Lewallen and Joseph Lewis each had interceptions.
The Pioneers finished their season with a record of 8-4.
