Obituary: George Ernest Faulkner

George Ernest Faulkner departed this life on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020, at his home in Cave City.

He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on May 2, 1946, to George Russell and Alene Goforth Faulkner.

During his working years, George was a truck driver.  He loved to hunt, especially deer hunting, and was an avid Razorback fan.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda, of the home; two sons, David W. Faulkner (Debbie), of Melbourne, Jeremy E. Faulkner (Rachel), of Newport; a daughter, Jackie Crabtree (Randall), of Cave City; nine grandchildren, Jessica (Ricky), Kayla (George), Rebecca (Gary), Dominque (Joe), Dylan, Angel, Hannah, Nancy, Elijah; nine great-grandchildren, Dakota, Emily, Skyler, Savannah, Madelyn, Makinlee, Devin, Domenic, Daniel; and two great-great-grandchildren, Rose, and Violet.

George was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Charles Nathan Faulkner, a granddaughter, Diane Tyler, and a grandson-in-law, Drew Kirk.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Doty Southside Funeral Service.
