Herbert Lynn Dawson, 71, of Newport departed this life Monday, Nov. 30, 2020, in Searcy.
He was born July 12, 1949, to Herbert Lonzo Dawson and Jewel (Burton) Dawson in Newport, Arkansas. Dawson was in the Army. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
His survivors are sons; Travis Dawson of Sulpher Rock, Eric and Jonathan Dawson of Magness, sisters; Sandra Dawson of Bentonville and Sharon Dawson of Campbell Station, and two grandchildren.
