Batesville City Council looking at full agenda for Tuesday meet


The Batesville City Council will have a full agenda Tuesday evening when it meets at 5:30 at the Batesville Municipal Building, 500 Main St.

There are 11 items listed under “New Business,” including the consideration of an ordinance for the approval of a private club permit application. The application for the club notes it will be known as “Club Las Playitas of Batesville” and will be located at 350 Harrison St. (pictured).

Also included on the agenda: reports from the Batesville Police Department and the city engineer along with an end-of-the-year report from Main Street Batesville. And the council will also discuss a resolution levying fees for trash and garbage pickup service and an ordinance to adopt the 2021 budget.
