William David “Red” Crabtree of Batesville passed away Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, at the age of 80. He was born Sept. 18, 1940, to the late Arnold and Thelma Crabtree.
He enjoyed dancing and was an avid Southside Southerner and Arkansas Razorback fan. Red’s passion though was his love for his family, especially his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren.
Red is reunited in heaven with both of his parents; his previous wife, Ava Lee; his brother, L. P. Crabtree; and his sister, Ruby Patterson. He is survived by his wife, Martha Crabtree; his sons, David Crabtree (Jennifer) of Batesville and Dale Crabtree (Lori) of Elwood, Indiana; step-daughters, Martha Lee Foust (Rickey) of Newport and Pamela Jackson (Paul) of Cabot; four granddaughters, Brittany Baker and Leea Godush, both of Batesville, and Kelsey Stiner and Bailey Crabtree, both of Elwood, Indiana; and six great-grandchildren, Holden Baker, Coy Baker, Saige Baker, Davie Godush, Briggs Godush, and Ava Lee Stiner.
