A White County man was killed Friday morning on I-30 in Little Rock when a camper trailer being towed by another vehicle detached.
According to the Arkansas State Police preliminary crash summary, a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling west on I-30 when the camper trailer it was towing began to sway and eventually detach before coming to rest in the traffic lane.
The report said a 2002 Toyota Avalon drove into the rear of the camp trailer, killing the driver, identified as Thomas Edward Ferrell, 56, of Pangburn.
The preliminary crash summary notes the road was dry and the weather was clear at the time of the accident.
