Yellowjackets defeat the Riverview Raiders in a double-header Tuesday night at home

Beck Morrow hit a three-pointer to close out the third quarter and give Mountain View a 39-31 lead.
Senior Brayden Scribner would hit two free throws in the fourth quarter which was the only two points Mountain View would score in the quarter, but it proved to be enough as the Yellowjackets would hold on to a 41-39 victory over the Riverview Raiders on Tuesday night at Mountain View High School.
The win improved Mountain View to 3-4 overall and 2-2 in conference play, while Riverview dropped to 4-2 overall and 1-2 in the conference.
Morrow led the Yellowjackets with 10 points, Kaedn Henderson added nine points, Scribner had seven points, Riley McCarroll with five points, and four points from Elijah Carlton
In the first game of the night, the Mountain View Lady Yellowjackets jumped out to a 24-1 lead at the end of the first quarter and coasted to a 63-18 victory over the Riverview Lady Raiders.
Kennedy Holland, Chaelann Vickers, and Josie Storey each had 13 points, Aubrey Isbell and Rylee Shipman each added six points, Emry Johnson and Katie Coon each added four points.
Mountain View won their fourth consecutive game, improving to 4-2 overall and 4-0 in conference play.  Riverview dropped to 0-6 overall and 0-4 in conference play.
Next up for the Yellowjackets will be the Pangburn Tigers on Thursday at Mountain View High School.
