KTLO: Body found in burned vehicle in Baxter County

Mountain Home radio station KTLO is reporting that Baxter County authorities are investigating the discovery of a body in a burned vehicle.

The station said a 911 call directed authorities to a vehicle that had been “off in the woods” for the past few days in the 4000 block of Old Arkana Road. When officials arrived on the scene, they recovered a burned body from the vehicle.

Investigators processed the scene, and the body was transported to the county’s coroner’s office. KTLO said there is no further information at this time.
