Maudie Sue Robertson, age 69, passed away on Jan. 4, 2021, in Batesville, Arkansas.
She was born Dec. 17, 1951, along with twin sister, Stella Lou to Max and Minnie Mae Barns Kimmer.
She graduated from UALR and worked several years for Cabot Schools and substitute taught some for Batesville Schools. She retired from Con-Agra where she worked in quality control. Maudie was a member of New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Over the years Maudie served as a church Elder, Sunday school teacher, Cumberland Presbyterian Women member (CPWM), and as local President. She was past secretary of the White River District of CPWM. Her hobbies were reading, watching TV, and traveling.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Larry J Robertson; two sons, Jeremy (wife, Jill) Robertson of Batesville; Jason (wife, Danielle) Robertson of Springdale; one granddaughter, Jaden Robertson; two sisters, Joy Johnson of Batesville and Debbie Smith of Archie, Missouri; brother, Eddie Kimmer of Sioux City, Iowa; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Maudie was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Matthew Lynn Robertson; and sister, Stella Miller.
Pallbearers are Junior Miller, Mark Miller, Larry Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Michael Johnson, and Darrell Robertson.
Graveside services will begin at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021, at New Hope Cemetery in Bethesda under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville with Rev. Rian Puckett officiating.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, at the funeral home.
