Batesville man dies after being struck by vehicle in Bradford


Arkansas State Police report a Batesville man was killed Thursday, Jan. 7, in Bradford, after being struck by a vehicle.

Mark Sneed, 64, died as he was walking across the roadway around 6:30 a.m. and was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound on State Highway 87.

Trooper Quinton Magg reported the road conditions were dry, and the weather was cloudy.

This was the 12th fatal accident of 2021, according to the Arkansas Department of Public Safety.
