Obituary: Taylor “Tate” Denae Whited

Taylor “Tate” Denae Whited, age 27, of Beebe, passed away on the morning of Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021.

Tate was a fireball since the moment she was born. She made her presence known through her contagious spirit that could light up a room in a second. Beyond her fiery personality, she was the most passionate, strong-willed, and independent individual. She thrived on adventure and unknown possibilities, always looking for more. She left a mark on every person she knew, leaving countless memories that we will cherish.

She excelled in a profession dominated by men, successfully making a name for herself. She had the ability to alter the dynamics of life as she saw fit. Beyond everything else, her purpose was to raise Steele with respect and kindness and give him the most joyful life possible. Her legacy will shine through him fervently. 

Taylor was born on June 23, 1993, to Christie Whited and Joey Whited in Little Rock, Arkansas.

She is survived by the love of her life, her son Steele; fiancé, Will Scott; mother, Christie Whited (Duane); sister, Skylar Whited and Cyli-Jo; father, Joey Whited (Hazelle); grandparents, Bill and Lana Hamby, Jewel Whited, and Lolo Eddie Pati.

She has a host of uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her Paw-Paw Billy Whited, her uncle Barry Nelson, and Lola Fe Pati.

The celebration of life will be held at Francis Farms on Friday, Jan. 15, 2021, at 1:00 p.m.
