The Distribution Coordinator in Stone County for the USDA Farmers to Families Food Box Program, Tina Trammell, said that the program is again providing food boxes for Stone County residents.

“We have food distribution coming again. I got a notice about that. It’s going to start, tentatively [Jan. 28]…possibly 1,500 boxes of food and milk. We’re excited about getting that out into the community and to all of those that want and need it,” said Trammell.

Trammell said that as soon as the distribution date and time are known for sure, she will make the public aware.

She said distribution locations should remain the same as the last time boxes were made available.
