Mountain View Lady Yellowjackets win 10th game in a row Tuesday night at Rosebud

Tuesday night at Rose Bud High School, the Mountain View Lady Yellowjackets won their 10th game in a row and stayed unbeaten in conference play with a 50-32 victory over the Rose Bud Lady Ramblers.

The game was close in the first half with Mountain View holding a 23-16 halftime advantage, but the Lady ‘Jackets would build that lead to 20 in the second half with a balanced scoring attack as seven different players scored in the second half.

Senior Aubrey Isbell led the Lady Yellowjackets with 12 points, Chaelann Vickers and Rylee Shipman each added nine points, Emry Johnson had eight points and seven rebounds, and Emily Fletcher earned six points.

Kyndal Rooks led Rose Bud with 13 points. Mountain View improved to 10-2 overall and 9-0 in conference play, while Rose Bud fell to 11-3 overall and 6-3 in conference play.

In the senior boys game, Mountain View fell behind by 15 points in the first half as the offense struggled to get going early.

The Yellowjackets would battle their way back into the game in the second half closing the gap to two in the fourth quarter, but could not get any closer as they fall 67-63 to the Rose Bud Ramblers.

Senior Brayden Scribner led the Yellowjackets with 26 points and eight rebounds, Junior Elijah Carlton added 20 points, Seniors Bryce Baird and Kaedn Henderson each added seven points as Mountain View fell to 4-9 overall and 2-7 in conference play.

Rose Bud was led by Reece Hipp who had 24 points, Jared Wray added 13 points and Jace Goodwin 10 points as the Ramblers improved to 8-7 overall and 5-4 in conference play.
