Wanda Jean Lau, 89, of Batesville, departed this life on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021, at her home.
She was born in Camp, Arkansas on Aug. 26, 1931, to John R. and Bertha Watkins Verdot.
Jean and John Henry Lau were united in marriage on July 28, 1949.
She was a homemaker, seamstress, and a volunteer for the White River Medical Center and of the Freewill Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and four brothers.
Jean is survived by her daughters, Jinger Farleigh of Southside, Janice Roberts of Springdale; three grandchildren, Robb, Cori, and Ben; and five great-grandchildren, Mia, Kaitlyn, Bella, Beckett, and Bennett.
A Graveside Service will be Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. in the Camp Cemetery in Camp, Arkansas.
