According to a press release from the Arkansas State Police, Special Agents of the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division have responded to a call from the Independence County Sheriff’s Deputies requesting assistance in a murder investigation that local authorities initiated Monday.
Authorities discovered the body of Adam Lowry, 29, inside a residence on Rounds Road, east of Batesville. The state medical examiner will determine the manner and cause of death.
State police CID agents have begun documenting the crime scene and assisting local authorities in the search for a suspect.
