As the result of an ongoing drug investigation, the Sharp County Sheriff’s Department along with Cave City Police executed a search warrant Tuesday at the residence of Dennis Tucker on Brickle Springs Road.

A release from Sharp County Sheriff Mark Counts says officers found several ounces of suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and a large sum of cash during the search.

Tucker, 47, was taken to jail where he is being held awaiting the filing of formal charges, which Sheriff Counts says will include possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (namely meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class B felony.
