Roberta Sue (Junkins) Long, 78, passed away on Jan. 27, 2021.
She was born on Oct. 26, 1942, in Noble, Illinois, to Robert L. Junkins and Doris (Fryman) Junkins.
Roberta was an active member of the Bethesda Campground United Methodist Church and the Independence County Extension Homemakers for many years. Roberta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose memory will forever be cherished by her loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert L. Junkins and Doris (Fryman) Junkins; brother, James Franklin Junkins; sister, Myrna Kay (Junkins) Tomblinson and her husband Joe; and husband, Buddy Carl Long.
She is survived by her sons, Carlin Wade Long of Batesville, AR and Jason Lane Long of Batesville, AR; daughter, Holly Sue Long of Topeka, Kansas; sister, Barbara Louise (Junkins) Thomann (Duane) of Noble, Illinois; granddaughters, Cara Childress (Adrain) of Batesville, AR, Cindy Long of Batesville, AR, and Tara Pryor (Mike) of Bloomington, Illinois; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
