Obituary: Maggie Mae Farris Crabtree

Maggie Mae Farris Crabtree, 69, of Cave City passed away Feb. 19, 2021.

She was born on Dec. 28, 1951, in Cave City to Troy Farris and Pauline Farris.

Maggie was a CNA for 32 years and loved every moment of it until she retired from Batesville Nursing and Rehab. She was of the Pentecostal faith and loved her church and her family. Maggie was a loving and caring person and anyone who came into contact with her could see these traits.

Survivors include one son, William Crabtree (Wendy) of Batesville, Arkansas; one daughter, Tammy Brock (Matt) of Batesville, Arkansas; two brothers, Henry Farris (Betty) and Herby Farris (Nell) of Cave City, Arkansas; one sister, Emma Finley (Donnie) of Strawberry, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Angel Kester of Redding, California, Cheyanne Bowers (Tyison) of Magness, Arkansas, Hailey Crabtree of Cave City, Arkansas, Macayla Fraser of Blackland, Arkansas, and Taylor Brock of Newark, Arkansas; and three step-grandchildren, Kimberly Smith of Evening Shade, Arkansas, and Randy and David Smith of Cave City, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three grandchildren, Tamara Holder, Della Kester, and Michaela Kester, and a baby brother, Johnny Farris.

Graveside services will be Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Weaver’s Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Jerry Faulkenberry, Buddy Justice, Larry Coleman, W.C. Coleman, Howard Albernathy, and Colton Posey.

Honorary pallbearers are Pete Faulkenberry, Joseph Farris, and Chris Goode.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021, at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home Chapel, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 50 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks and social distancing will be observed.
