With Independence County District Court being canceled last week (Feb. 17) due to inclement weather, District Judge Chaney Taylor’s office says if you had a court appearance scheduled for that day, to call the Clerk’s office at (870) 793-8817 to reschedule, or appear in court on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021, at 9 a.m.
No failure-to-appear warrants will be issued for non-appearances on Feb. 17, 2021, but you must contact the court to schedule your case for another date or appear on Feb. 24 in order to avoid a future warrant.
