Independence County Sheriff Shawn Stephens says his deputies are on the lookout for a stolen Jeep.

According to the incident report, sometime between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, someone entered a property in Cord and took a red 1972 Jeep CJ-5 with a black soft top and white rims. The vehicle has been entered into the Arkansas and National Crime Information Centers as a BOLO — “be on the lookout” for this vehicle.

In other news, the sheriff reported his department answered two domestic calls within the past 24 hours. Charges in each case have been sent to the prosecutor.
