Fay Downing Broadway, 93 of Batesville passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021, at her home.
She was born Sept. 29, 1927, in Fifty-Six, Arkansas to Clarence and Inez (Newcomb) Sartin.
She was retired from White Rodgers in Batesville and was a member of Little River Baptist Church in Manila.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Harry G. Downing and Jessie Broadway; two brothers, Glenn Sartin and Noble Sartin and two sisters, Hazel Sartin and Wanda Tilley.
Survivors include two sons, Harry Dennis Downing of Nacogdoches, Texas and Michael Darrell Downing of Batesville; one daughter, Faye Ann Trantham of Batesville; one brother, Mark Sartin (Lillian) of Mountain View; a twin sister, Nell Jobe of Cave City; two grandsons, David Trantham and Jason Trantham both of Batesville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel. A private burial will be in the Manila Cemetery in Manila.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Honorary pallbearers are Michael Darrell Downing, Harry Dennis Downing, David Trantham, Jason Trantham, and Mark Sartin.
