news-background-orange-45

A City of Newark utility truck was stolen mid-week from the city yard, according to a report from the Independence County Sheriff’s Department.

The department said the truck was apparently driven from the yard through the yard’s front gate, leaving the gate damaged and on the ground.

The stolen vehicle is described as a white Dodge Ram 2500 with the City of Newark logo on the doors. There should be visible damage to the front of the truck from when it was rammed through the gate.

The sheriff’s department entered the vehicle into the National and Arkansas Crime Information Centers, asking law enforcement to be on the lookout for the truck.
