Obituary: Zula Zelma Taylor

Zula Zelma Taylor, 98, of Oil Trough departed this life on Thursday, March 25, 2021.

She was born July 23, 1922, to Tom and Tinie (Leonard) Fisher.

She was a member of Oil Trough Church of Christ.  She was a sweet and loving mother and grandmother.  She was known, not only for her home cooking, which she loved to do but for her kindness.  She also loved to play Bingo and watch Wheel of Fortune. Her greatest love was spending time with her family and friends.  To know her was to love her!

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Romig Bridgeman; her second husband, John R. Taylor; her brothers, Ralph Fisher, Dovard Fisher, and Lecil Fisher; sisters, Annie Griffin, Fannie Mae Largent and her twin sister Bessie Carter.

She is survived by her son James Bridgeman and wife Brenda of Newport; daughters, Jean Sisk of Oil Trough, Joann Foshee of Thida and Peggy Taylor of Searcy; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and sixteen great-great-grandchildren.

Service will be Monday, March 29, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.  Burial is at Watson Cemetery.
