Doris V. Casper, 88 of Batesville died Monday, March 29, 2021.
She was born July 21, 1932, in Montgomery, Alabama to Roy Pearl and Martha Ruth Miller Strickland.
She was a retired school counselor having worked in Redland, California.
She enjoyed knitting, rescuing horses, and doing volunteer work for Arkansas Children’s Hospital. She loved all animals.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Batesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Cynthia A. Nelson; one brother, and two sisters.
Survivors include nephews, Bruce and Wayne Strickland; niece, Paula Reynolds, and special friend and caretaker, Lydia Duncan of Batesville.
No funeral services are planned. Arrangements are by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
